NextAvenue: The Encore Career Movement Grows Up

Those lucky enough to attend the 2016 Encore conference last month will certainly agree with author Richard Eisenberg’s assessment that “there’s nothing more inspiring than being surrounded by inspiring people.” The conference, which brought together over 400 supporters of the encore career movement from over a dozen countries, was described by one attendee as, “the Super Bowl of aging consciousness.” In this recap, Eisenberg covers event highlights and key takeaways, as well as challenges to the encore movement going forward.
