Grant Spotlight: L.A. Kitchen

Transition-age foster youth and formerly incarcerated older adults face real barriers in the job market. At L.A. Kitchen, these two populations come together for culinary training. These trainees use  reclaimed produce that would otherwise go to waste and produce healthy meals for senior centers. In this video, we visit Class 11’s Culinary Olympics day as they completed their training and prepared to begin their internships.
